Will the chauffeur wait inside the terminal with a name board?
On the standard transfer the pick-up is coordinated: we track your flight, your chauffeur confirms the meeting point at your terminal exit and contacts you by phone or WhatsApp the moment you land. The welcome inside arrivals (a uniformed chauffeur, a name board and assistance with your luggage) is our Meet & Greet service, included as standard in the Atelier tier and available as an option in the Clase V tier.
How long does the journey between Barajas and central Madrid take?
The airport lies around 15 km from the centre and the transfer typically takes 25 to 40 minutes depending on the time of day, edging towards the upper end at peak hours. Your chauffeur adapts the route to live traffic and to your exact destination, whether that is the Salamanca district, the city centre, the AZCA-Chamartín business district or the IFEMA exhibition grounds, the latter just minutes from the terminal.
How much courtesy waiting time is included?
We include 45 minutes of courtesy waiting time on domestic flights and 60 minutes on international ones, counted from the actual landing time rather than the scheduled one. That is ample margin for passport control and baggage reclaim at no additional charge.
What happens if my flight is early or delayed?
We track every flight in real time and adjust the pick-up time automatically, at no extra cost. If your flight arrives early, your chauffeur is there ahead of you; if it is delayed, we wait for your actual arrival.
How far in advance are you collected for the return to the airport?
For the return transfer we recommend collecting you 3 hours before an international flight and 2 hours before a domestic one, fine-tuned to your hotel, the time of day and your expected check-in. You may book the outbound leg only, the return only, or both.
What does the transfer fare include?
It is a fixed fare per journey, with VAT and tolls included, in a Mercedes-Benz Clase V with water, Wi-Fi and individual climate control. The price shown when you book is the same one our team would confirm, with no luggage surcharges. Child seats and a multilingual chauffeur are included; the Meet & Greet welcome is optional and comes as standard in the Atelier tier.
