How it works in the city

What a Madrid pick up actually looks like

The chauffeur takes up position at the agreed point in advance and waits at no charge for the agreed courtesy period; at a hotel he presents himself at reception with the name of the booking holder, and where the property does not allow waiting inside, he stands by the main entrance. For a Barajas collection the flight is tracked automatically, so an early or delayed arrival moves the time without you having to tell us.

Inside the city centre it pays to allow for traffic and for the low emission zones: our vehicles are authorised, but there are pedestrian streets and closures for works or events where the nearest legal stop is not the door itself. The chauffeur knows those drop off points and proposes them beforehand. On IFEMA trade fair days or match days it is worth leaving a margin, because the approaches to the M-40 and the A-2 saturate in very specific windows.

Frequently asked

Before you book

How long does the chauffeur wait at no charge?

For a collection at a city address the usual courtesy is fifteen minutes past the agreed time. At the airport it is longer, because it is counted from the actual landing rather than the scheduled time, so it covers passport control and baggage reclaim.

How far does local service from Madrid reach?

We run local transfers and hourly disposal across the Community of Madrid and within a radius of roughly 150 km. Beyond that the journey is arranged as long distance, at a fixed fare and in both directions, from Madrid out and from the destination back to Madrid.

Can you collect me from a pedestrian street or the historic centre?

We tell you in advance the nearest authorised point to your address. Much of the centre is pedestrianised or access restricted, so the chauffeur proposes the closest workable stop and walks the last stretch with you if luggage makes that helpful.

Can I book at short notice?

Yes, subject to fleet availability in that slot. For time critical services, such as a rush hour run to Barajas or a collection on a trade fair day, booking with margin is worth it: not for the price, but because the traffic window dictates the departure time.
